iTunes have created a dedicated Comic Relief room room, where donations will be made to Comic Relief for each download of the products featured.
To help raise money for the Comic Relief charity, iTunes are involved with “Music Relief”. For a 48 hour period FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (Thursday 12th March) until midnight on Saturday 14 March, 20p from any Top 40 song downloaded via the iTunes UK store (as listed in the midweek charts published on Wednesday 11 March) will go to Comic Relief. The aim is to drive as many downloads as possible to raise as much money as possible for poor and vulnerable people in the UK and Africa.
