The iPod touch now feels even better in your hand thanks to its incredibly thin, contoured enclosure made of polished stainless steel. The 3.5-inch widescreen display is perfect for watching movies and playing games.A new built-in speaker allows you to listen without headphones, and volume buttons are now built-in to the left side, giving you easy access to one of the most frequently used controls.

Groundbreaking technologies such as the multi-touch display, accelerometer, and 3D graphics, make the iPod touch fantastic for gaming. The accelerometer actually responds to your movements, so you can tilt and turn your touch to control the action. A new Genius feature also turns your iPod into your very own personal DJ. It cleverly creates playlists by finding songs in your music library that go perfectly together.

Now you can not only listen to music, but touch it too. Using your finger to navigate, you can flick through your albums by the cover art, a bit like leafing through a box of LPs to find your favourite record. You can even flip the cover over to view the track listing on the back! It really is that easy to find what you want. A customizable Home screen also lets you navigate your iPod touch faster.

Comic Relief with ITunes

iTunes have created a dedicated Comic Relief room room, where donations will be made to Comic Relief for each download of the products featured.

To help raise money for the Comic Relief charity, iTunes are involved with “Music Relief”. For a 48 hour period FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (Thursday 12th March) until midnight on Saturday 14 March, 20p from any Top 40 song downloaded via the iTunes UK store (as listed in the midweek charts published on Wednesday 11 March) will go to Comic Relief. The aim is to drive as many downloads as possible to raise as much money as possible for poor and vulnerable people in the UK and Africa.

Exclusive – Amy is live in London for her first UK show of 2009. The date is May 31st when she’ll be performing live at one of London’s historic music venues to help celebrate 50 years of her label, Island Records.

The Shepherds Bush Empire show culminates a week long string of gigs from Island artists past and present and following the announcement of Amy’s gig today, demand is at fever pitch. 

Amy will be joined onstage by Grammy winning artists ‘Toots And The Maytals’ and rising star ‘I Blame Coco’.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday 13th March.
